Alice Quick

Mrs. Alice Jean Brock Quick, 83, died on Monday, January 31, 2022.  Born, March 9, 1938, in Chesterfield, SC, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Ruby Driggers Brock. Mrs. Quick was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Wallace and worked in the cafeteria in the former Wallace High School.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Jennings Quick.

Alice leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Francis Quick of the home; sons, Brian Jeffery Quick of Wallace, SC, Kenneth Dawson Quick of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Francis Timothy Quick of Wallace, SC; grandchildren, Brandon Quick, Kelynn Keith, Gavin Quick, Zack Quick, Brock Quick, Darren Quick, Miranda Quick, and Ethan Bradley; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.  Burial will follow at Chatham Hills Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service on Thursday at Kiser Funeral Home.
