Betty Lou Horton , 75, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Born in Cheraw, SC she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Ela Mae Rivers Bennett. She was married to the late Jackie Horton. She attended Westside Baptist Church and North Cheraw Baptist Church's bible study group. Mrs. Horton retired from Stanley Tools in Cheraw and was a homemaker and care giver.

Surviving are her daughter Cindy Brigman of Cheraw, SC, brothers Bobbie Bennett of Cheraw, SC, Jimmy Earl Bennett of Ranger, TX, Lewis Bennett of Waco, TX, John Bennett of Cheraw, SC, sisters Peggy Smith of Cheraw, SC, Delores Roysdgen of Lafette, TN, grandchildren Kristina Garrison, Cassandra Bennett, and great-grandchildren Will Garrison, Olivia Garrison, Evan Garrison, Piper Bennett.

The family will receive friends 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. A funeral service will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, January 12, 2013 following the visitation, in the funeral home chapel.
