Betty McPherson

Ms. Betty Lou McPherson, 80, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2021.  Born, April 14, 1941, in Cheraw, SC she was a daughter of the late Daniel J. McPherson, Jr. and the late Lula Beatrice Moore McPherson. She lived with her parents until their death in 1988, after that time she was a resident at The Cheraw Manor, CHESCO Home, and Cheraw Health Care.

Betty Lou leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brother, Daniel J. McPherson, III of Spartanburg, SC; her sister, Eugenia M. Hilliard of Cheraw, SC; nieces Melanie Quick, Chris Morris, and Jennifer Harris, nephews Craig Hilliard, and David McPherson.

A funeral service will be held at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC at 2 PM Sunday, June 20, 2021. Burial will be at Old Saint David’s Cemetery in Cheraw, SC following the service.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Rev. Dr. Steve West, officiant.
