Bobbie Ann Smith Linton, 75, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Born in Hartsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Willie Joshua and Annie Mae Hall Smith. Ms. Linton enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family, especially trips to the beach with her sisters. She also enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR racing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as her dog.

She is survived by her son, Charles Glenn (Jamie) Moody, of Hartsville, SC, daughters, Melissa (James) Tarasiewicz, of Cheraw, SC, and Sonja Marie (Robert) Cox, of Leonardtown, MD, brothers, Lynwood Smith, of Hartsville, SC, and Willie J. Smith, Jr., of Hartsville, SC, sisters, Hazel S. Platt, of West Columbia, SC, Joyce S. Gainey, of Patrick, SC, Phyllis S. Teague, of Lowell, NC, and Wanda S. Melton, of Simpsonville, SC, nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, a brother, James Edward Smith and a sister, Virginia “Jenny” S. Board.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Kiser Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 5:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Kiser Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the service in Faith Fellowship Church Cemetery, Wallace, SC.
