Cathy McLendon Adams, 71, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Born, December 9, 1953, in Bennettsville, SC she was the daughter of the late Sam and Sara Louise Quick McLendon. 

Cathy was an active member of Westside Baptist Church and had a deep passion for reading. She also found joy in playing word games, shopping, and tending to her meticulously maintained yard, reflecting her vibrant personality and attention to detail.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 43 years, Lewis “Bud” Adams; brothers, Tony McLendon and Larry McLendon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Lynn Crolley (Philip) of Lugoff, SC; a granddaughter, Cassidy Crolley of Columbia, SC; nieces, Karen Boan and Elaine Boan both of Cheraw, SC; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.

The family will receive friends following the service at the Cemetery on Friday.
