Charles W. Perdue, 84, Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Born in Chesterfield County he was a son of the late Charlie and Jessie Mae Griggs Perdue. He had served in the US Marine Corp. He was a member of Pleasant Hill UMC (40+ years) where he served as a lay leader, Sunday School Teacher and several leadership positions in the church. He enjoyed gardening, cutting grass and fishing. He loved spending time with family and especially grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife Nellie Faye Leviner Perdue of Wallace, SC, a son, Charles Brandon (Renee) Perdue of McColl, SC, a brother, Ken Perdue of Hartsville, SC, a sister, Margie Ann Perdue of Hartsville, SC and five grandchildren, Briclee Gray, Chloe Perdue, Maddox Perdue, Mallory Perdue, Maddison Perdue.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, a brother, James Perdue and a sister, Ollie Tolson.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Pleasant Hill UMC, Wallace, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
