Daniel Robert Hall was born on December 5th, 1976 to Barbara Turnage Hall Thompson and the late Raeford Hall, Sr. He came into this family with Raeford Hall, Jr. as his big brother and they became close and stayed close to each other through life. At the age of 5, Daniel confessed his belief in Jesus Christ, was saved and water baptized at that time. He was later baptized by the Holy Ghost! Daniel graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical Center in Darlington, SC. in 1996. He earned a high school diploma and went to work at Wal-Mart Distribution Center until 2007 when he resigned due to the distance to drive back and forth to his home in Florence, SC. He went to work for Santee Electric where he worked from 2007. He resigned to go to work for Charles Ingram Lumber Company as a specialist in Southern Yellow Pine. He was the first person to pass the certifications since 1956 on the first try. He resigned from this job due to his health. Daniel had been a musician since early childhood and sang in Prince of Peace church when it was founded at the age of 5 years old. He played a guitar when 6 years of age and of course he cultivated his knowledge of Music and was beautifully gifted by God with many talents. He was a lead guitarist and singer with the group County Line for many years and he played all over this state as well as several others. They had also cut several recordings. He loved being with his family, entertaining his friends and family with music, grilling and singing for their enjoyment. He always fried turkeys for Christmas and Thanksgiving. He liked golf, fishing, camping and rafting with friends and his family and anything to do with nature. He also enjoyed watching fawn's play, hearing birds sing and watching them feed at the feeders. He even had a pet squirrel that he and his brother rescued during a storm. He raised and took care of it for 7 years. He loved everything God made and was happiest when he was in those elements with his family. He liked hanging out with his mom, family and watching movies, dancing and playing games. He especially loved fishing and watching the sunset over Lake Marion in Santee with the people that loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father listed above, a niece, Crystal Hall, maternal grandparents, Martha and Howard Turnage, paternal grandparents, Alvin and Ella Hall, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Daniel leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his death are his two daughters, Alania Hall of Florence, SC and Jewel Hall of Ft. Campbell, KY, his wife Kelly Hall of Florence, SC, a brother, Raeford Hall Jr. of Cheraw, SC, his mother, Barbara Hall Thompson of Holly Hill, S.C and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.
