David Austin Baumgardner, 25, died Monday, April 20, 2020. Born in Cheraw, SC, he was the son of Joseph Leonard (Augusta) Baumgardner II of Bennettsville, SC, and Pamela Gale (William Hardy) Wicker of Wallace, SC. He loved working on four-wheelers, fishing, going to the beach, but the biggest part of his heart belonged to his daughter.

Surviving  are his parents listed above, a daughter, Marley Alexis Baumgardner and her mother, Taylor Gathings of Cordova, NC, sisters, Sarah English of Wallace, SC, Jasmine Baumgardner of Darlington, SC, Monica Baumgardner and Amor Baumgardner of Shelby, NC, grandparents, William (Faye) Wicker of Wallace, SC, Judy Baumgardner of Cheraw, SC, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Joseph Baumgardner.

The family will have a viewing 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
