Mr. Donnie Lynn Hicks, 52, died on Saturday, February 18, 2023.  Born, August 31, 1970, in Cheraw, SC, he was the son of Johnny Lee and Virginia Parker Hicks.  Donnie worked for 32 years Schaeffler Group in Cheraw, SC.  He was a laid back man, who enjoyed cars, riding, and talking with people.

Donnie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Johnny Lee Hicks, and Virginia Parker Hicks of Society Hill, SC; daughter, Carmen Garrett and husband, Tyler of Monks Corner, SC; grandson, Rowan Garrett; sister, Darlene James and husband, Paul of Society Hill, SC; and a niece, Selena Chapman and husband, Dusty of Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.  Burial will follow in Welsh Neck Baptist Church Cemetery in Society Hill, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Kiser Funeral Home.
