Dora Lucille Daniels Smith

Mrs. Dora Lucille Daniels Smith, 89, died on Monday, April 11, 2022.  Born, July 11, 1932, in Bennettsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Joshua Way and Annie Ruth Lewis Daniels.  Lucille served her country proudly in the United States Air Force.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cheraw, SC, where she held a Temple Recommend, led the singing, was over the relief society, and was a Sunday School Teacher.  She also loved shopping and going out to eat.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Weldon Daniels, and a sister, Iris Juanita Rickman.

Mrs. Smith leaves behind to cherish her memories, her niece, Iris Brigman and husband, Carl of Bennettsville, SC; a nephew, Chris Branch and wife, Belinda of Florence, SC; several great nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cheraw, SC.  Burial will follow with Military Honors at Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville, SC.
