Dorothy Hoyle

Dorothy Lintine Herrington Hoyle, 91, died Tuesday, April 04, 2017. Born in Atkins, SC she was a daughter of the late James and Ada Herington. She was the widow of Russell McCoy Hoyle Sr.  She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She served as the Director of Vacation Bible School, Sunday School Teacher and in the Choir.

Surviving is her son, Jimmy Lee Hoyle of Willow Spring, NC, daughters, Sadie Keeton Murphy of Taylors, SC, Patricia Ann Hostetler of Cheraw, SC, Phyllis Jeanette Johnson of Cheraw, SC, sisters, Virginia Atkinson of Sumter, SC, Annie Laurie Atkinson of Sumter, SC, twelve grandchildren and numerus great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, sons, Russell McCoy Hoyle, Jr., Larry Eugene Hoyle, a daughter, Linda Fincher, brothers, J.B. Herrington, Fred Herrington, William Herrington, Thomas Herrington, sisters, Marie Atkinson and Beatrice Boykin.

The family will receive friends 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Westside Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Westside Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
