Dorothy Clark Winburn passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was 90 years old.  Mrs. Winburn was predeceased by her beloved husband (of 52 years) James Noel Winburn. Born in Hartsville, SC she was the daughter of the late Albert Joy and Alma Cross Howle and the adoptive daughter of the late John Alexander and Lottie Howle Clark. Mrs. Winburn was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. She was a member of Senior Circle, the Gamecock Club and was a Hospital volunteer. She retired from J.P. Stevens with 35+ years of service. She enjoyed going to USC (Gamecock events) and traveling to the beach.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by daughters, Veronica (Herbert) Watts of Cheraw, SC, Mary Jim Hage of North Myrtle Beach, SC, grandchildren, Jay Pruitt, Herbert Watts, Jr., Alexa Hitchcock, Otto Hage, Chris Hage, Clark Pruitt, Caroline Driggers, great grandchildren, Kayleigh Pruitt, Madeline Hage, Jayson Pruitt, Hannah Watts, Preston Hage, Ella Watts, Daniel Watts, Lukas Hage, Heinz Driggers, William Hage, Anthony Pruitt and a sister, Belva Gravitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, also, a daughter, Cynthia W. Smith, a son-in-law, Otto Hage, sisters Elizabith Taylor, Lottie Jean Walker, Miriam Odom, brothers, Carl Howle, James Howle and Mac Howle.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC

A rosary will be held 7:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral mass will be held 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
