Eddie Arnold Hammonds , 70, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Born in Bennettsville, SC he was the son of the late George Allen and Annie Mae Chavis Hammonds.  He enjoyed go-cart racing and hunting.

Surviving are his sons, Arnold Hammonds of Fort Mill, SC, Eddie Allen of Bennettsville, SC, Eddie Lee Hammonds of Whiteville, NC, Raymond Lee Hammonds of McColl, SC, daughters, Tammy Hammonds of Fort Mill, SC, Michelle Wright of Patrick, SC, Molly Ann Hammonds of Alabama, a sister, Nancy Mace of Bennettsville, SC, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and a daughter, Frances Hammonds.
The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2012 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 4:00 PM, following the visitation.  Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
