Eleanor Oveta Price Burr, 75, died Saturday, August 31, 2019. Born in Jefferson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Roy Franklin and Beulah Mae Rollins Price and a widow of Freddie Louis Burr. She was a member of Cheraw Family Worship Center. She was known for her kindness and compassion to all. Her love for baking was felt by everyone who enjoyed her cakes and old-fashioned banana pudding. She brought a smile to anyone who came in contact with her and will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her son Christopher “Chris” Boyd Burr of Cheraw, SC, daughter, Angela Lanore (Ronald) Crawford of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Cole McCormick, Jonathan Cade Burr, Melody Crawford, and Trent Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, a brother, Ronald Franklin Price, and a sister, Emma Jean Sullivan.

The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Cheraw Family Worship Center, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Cheraw Family Worship Center, Cheraw, SC.

A private committal service will be held following the funeral.
