Elizabeth Ann Alder, 76, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Born in Badin, NC she was a daughter of the late Melvin L Wooten Sr. and Irene Biles Wooten. She was retired from First Citizens Bank with 30+years of service. She enjoyed Ceramics and was the owner of Elizabeth’s Ceramic Shop.

Surviving is her son, Michael Van (Sarah L.) Carter of Cheraw, SC, brothers, Robert E. Wooten of Cheraw, SC, Melvin L Wooten of Cheraw, SC, Tommy L Wooten of Ocala, FL, sisters, Johnnie Rae Adams of Cheraw, SC,  Linda B. McDonald of Patrick, SC, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Alder and a sister, Melvorene E. Roberts.

The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral will be held at 2: 00 PM, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
