Emma Frances Gaines Creech, 76, died on Friday, May 26, 2017. Born in Marlboro County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Gaines and Lula Mae Quick. Mrs. Creech enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed crafts and puzzles.

Surviving are her sons, John (Jaqueline) K. Creech, III of Cheraw, SC and Douglas (Tracy) K. Creech of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Justin L. Creech, John Creech, IV, Brandon Jacobs, Shasity Quick, Lillian Creech, Alissa Creech, Carmen Creech, Carlos Creech, and great-grandchildren, Ava Jacobs, Freya Jacobs, Shyanne Cole, Cheston Quick, John Creech, V, and Jace Creech.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, a brother, Charlie Gaines, Jr., and sisters, Aline D. Turner, and Juanita Hicks.

The family will receive friends 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Kiser Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 5:00 PM Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Kiser Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Chavis Cemetery, Bennettsville, SC.
