Ernest Ervin Linton, Sr. 81, died, Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Born in Society Hill, SC he was the son of the late Mannie Lee and Carrie Goodman Linton and the widower of Betty Sue Pruitt Linton. He enjoyed carpentry and spending time with his family. He was retired from Oak River Mills and truck driving.

Surviving is his son, Robert Eugene Linton of Society Hill, SC, grandchildren Ernest “Trae” (Lisa)Irvin Linton, III, Jennifer (Jason) Carraway, Amy Nicole Linton, great grandchildren, Shea Linton, Amber Carraway, Brice Carraway, Hannah Linton, Connor Carraway, AnnaBelle Smith, and Khloe Carraway, sisters, Doris Blue of Blenheim, SC, Pat Dailey Crowley, Wallace, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife listed above also, a son. Ernest Irvin Linton, Jr., and a sister, Janice Hinson.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday July 27, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be in Welsh Neck Baptist Church Cemetery, Society Hill, SC.
