Fannie Lee Wallace Harper, 89, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. Born in Chesterfield, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Franklyn and Aurilla Katherine Wallace. She was the widow of William L. “Bill” Harper, the love of her life for close to 70 years. Mrs. Harper was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir. She was retired from Cooper Tools (Weller). Mrs. Harper loved flowers and enjoyed working in the yard as often as she could. She could often be found crocheting a prayer shawl to be given out to those in need. She loved her family and enjoyed visits from everyone.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (John) Davis of Lowrys, SC, sons, William “Butch” (Marsha) Harper, of Florence, SC and Jim (Kristi) Harper of Chesterfield, SC, grandchildren, Brent (Misty) Harper, Bryan (Ashley) Harper, Dallas (Allison) Watson, Dalton (Mica) Harper, Ian (Aspen Simmons) Harper, Kit (Andre) Scott, Evans (Kelly) Davis, Abbey (Heeth) Harding, Brad (Natalie) Newsome and Jill Newsome, sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents listed above, brothers, J.P. Wallace, Doc Wallace, Dozier Wallace, Dick Wallace, a sister, Edith Wallace, a grandson, Lance Newsome and a great-grandson, Tag Harding.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in the Fellowship Hall of Zoar United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Zoar United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Zoar United Methodist Church, 2842 Zoar Road, Cheraw, SC 29520.
