Furman Barker Wardlaw passed away Friday, October 19, 2018. Born March 15, 1948 in Bennettsville, SC he was the son of the late Frank Cox and Rose Barker Wardlaw. He graduated from Camden Military Academy and attended Wingate University.  He operated Furman’s Lawn Care Service and had many loyal Cheraw customers. Furman was a member of First Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.

He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Frank Cox Wardlaw, Jr. Surviving is his sister, Frances Wardlaw Neal (Tom) of Charlotte, NC.

A graveside service celebrating his life will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 23. 2018 in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC. The family will receive friends following the service.
