Gladys Gaster Daniel, 92, of Bennettsville, SC died Monday, February 18, 2019. A native of Johnsonville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. Gaster and Claudia Johnson Gaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Williams Gaster, brother Dan Gaster, and sister, Frances Gaster.

She is survived by her husband, Earl L. Daniel of Bennettsville.  She is also survived by her daughter, Lindsay D. Bennett, and son-in-law, Robert M. Bennett, of Cheraw, SC and grandson, Daniel McArn Bennett, of Washington, DC.

Gladys attended Johnsonville schools and graduated from Winthrop College. She worked at the Marlboro County Sheriff's Department for 7 years and retired from Powell Manufacturing in Bennettsville, SC where she was employed for 25 years as an Administrative Assistant to the President of the company.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bennettsville, SC. Gladys was also a member of  the Garden Gate Garden Club of Bennettsville and served as its treasurer.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 11:00am at Old St. David's Episcopal Church Cemetery - 91 Church Street in Cheraw, SC
