Henry Allen Brock, Jr.

Mr. Henry Allen Brock, Jr., 76, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.  Born, May 13, 1946, in Cheraw, SC, he was the son of the late Mary Threadgill Brock and the late Henry Allen Brock, Sr.  Henry loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping, and in his later years, he took care of his mother and wife until they passed away.  He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Wallace, SC and loved spending time with his dog, Sammy. 

Along with his parents, listed above, Henry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janet Susie Brock; a stepson, Jimmy Coombes; and his sisters, Trudy Stamey, and Janet Brock.

Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Lisa Ryan (Manny) of Defuniak Springs, FL, and Sara Blackmon (Andy) of Pensacola, FL; stepsons, Ryan Melton (Natalie) of Cheraw, SC, and Curtis Melton (Jenny) of Wallace, SC; a sister, Ann Morris of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Hunter Ryan, Bree Ryan, Chase Ryan, Rayne Ryan, Amelia Melton, Charlye Melton, Daniel Coombes, Wendy Duboise, and Chris Bennett; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Harris Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Society Hill, SC.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.
