Henry "Buddy" Tucker

Henry Patrick “Buddy” Tucker, 80, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 23, 1937 in Chesterfield County he was a son of the late John Wilson and Julia Rezell Keith Tucker. He was the widower of Lucy Barnes Harris Tucker. He was past owner of Linton and Tucker Construction Company. Buddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and driving his Kenworth truck. He also enjoyed spending time with his two beloved grandsons and their families.

He is survived by his daughter, Laurie Harris Tucker Norris his son-in-law Rev. Bobby Norris of Bennettsville, SC, grandsons, Bobby “Bo” (Patti) Norris Jr., William Patrick (Kyndall Rose) Norris, his great granddaughter, Sunny Adair Norris all of Society Hill, SC, a brother, Frances A. “Frankie” Tucker of Society Hill, SC, sisters, Gladys T. (Don) Stephens of York, SC, Lola T. (Wayne) James of Hartsville, SC, Carolyn T. (Courtney) Stokes of Society Hill, SC. Brothers in law Julius R. Loflin and Allen Poston of Cheraw, SC sisters in law Lois Tucker of Society Hill and Bernice H. Heustess of Clinton SC and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife listed above, brothers, James W. “Buck” Tucker, Charles R. “Randy” Tucker, sisters, Atlas T. Loflin, Lois T. Poston and business partner William P. “Sonny” Linton.

The family will receive friends 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral will be held 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be in the Linton/Tucker Family Cemetery.
