Horace F. McQuage, 64, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Born in Laurinburg, NC he was the  son of the late Horace Franklin and Clara Mae Walters McQuage. He was a baseball talent in his youth and was scouted by the Pittsburg Pirates. He was a NRA member and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Surviving are his wife, Scarlet McQuage of Grifton, NC, sons, Shane (Ashley) McQuage of Grifton, NC, Logan (fiancée, Ashley Cherry) McQuage of Hope Mills, NC, also, many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and a sister, Claretta Diane McQuage.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. Visitation will be only at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home Chapel.
