James Allen Pope, Sr., 69, died Saturday, December 28, 2013. He was the son of the late Glady E. Steen and Henry Pope. Mr. Pope enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a master electrician in the construction industry.
Mr. Pope is survived by his sons James Allen (Ophelia) Pope, Jr. of Savannah, GA, Winston Hercules (Tabitha) Pope of High Point, NC, daughters Donna Lynn Connor of Patrick, SC, Tammy Lynn (Carl Leroy) Yates of Cheraw, SC, brothers John H. Pope of Wallace, SC, Mark D. Pope of Wilson, NC, Billy R. Pope of Wilson, NC, Joe Pope of Wilson, NC, sisters Sally B. Pope of Wilson, NC, Dean Pope of Raleigh, NC, Patricia Pope of Elizabethtown, NC., 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home.
