James Short

Cheraw, SC

James Daniel Short, 64, died, Saturday, August 15, 2015. Born in Morven, NC he was a son of the late Daniel Wilson and Lilly Mae Deese Short and the widower of   Edna Mae Whitaker Short. He enjoyed country music. He was retired from Carolina Canners.

Surviving is his son, Jeffrey Short of Cheraw, SC, a daughter, Vickie (Jody) Braswell of Cheraw, SC, sisters, Evelyn Short and Carol Beasley both of Hartsville, SC, Kay Lewis and Martha Rivers both of Cheraw, SC, Brenda Kelly of Society Hill, SC, Margaret Roach of Liberty, SC and Shirley Davis of Easley SC, a granddaughter, Miracle Leeann Braswell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife listed above, also, a brother, Edward Allen Short.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Kiser Funeral Home Chapel.
