James Levern Dixon

James Levern Dixon, 68, died Sunday September 11, 2016. Born in Cheraw, SC, he was the son of the late Earl and Retha Dixon. James was married to his loving wife Doris Elizabeth Dixon. He was a member of Cheraw Church of God, enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife listed above, sons Randolph Clayton Gray, and Josha Ray English of Wallace, SC, daughters Frances Dixon and Carolyn Hargrove of Wallace, SC, sisters Mary Griggs of Patrick, SC, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above and sisters Mary Griggs, and Patricia Atkinson.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday September 16, 2016 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Friday September 16, 2016 at Kiser Funeral Home.
