Joe Streater

Joe Streater, 71, died Thursday, November 7, 2013. Born in Lilesville, NC he was the son of the late Thomas Calvin and Annie Mae Bryant Streater and the widower of Linda White Streater. He was a member of North Cheraw Baptist Church and the church choir.

Surviving are his son Jody (Liza) Streater of Cheraw, SC, a daughter, Dawn Freeman of Chesterfield, SC, sisters, Josephine S. Jones of Lilesville, NC, Mary Ann Pigg of Wadesboro, NC, Jean Grecho of Lilesville, NC, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife listed above, also brothers, Willie L. Winebarger and Calvin Junior Streeter.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 10, 2013 at North Cheraw Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC. Burial with Military Honors will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC.
