Mr. John Wallace Rainwater, 76, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.  Born, August 28, 1945, in Marlboro County, SC, he was a son of the late George Wallace and Thelma Quick Rainwater.  John was a hardworking man who loved to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors.

Along with his parents, listed above, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Rainwater and a brother-in-law, Wayne Perhealth.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Joyce Williams Rainwater of the home; sons, John Rainwater, Jr and wife, Wendy of Wallace, SC and Joe Rainwater and wife Amy of Wallace, SC; a step-daughter, Tammy Henkle and husband, Keary of Hamlet, NC; a brother, Richard Wayne Rainwater and wife, Ann of Wallace, SC; sisters, Carolyn Perhealth of Wallace, SC, and Jeanette Sinclair and husband, Richard of Hamlet, NC; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Faith Fellowship Church in Wallace, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Faith Fellowship Church in Wallace, SC.  Burial will follow at White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wallace, SC.
