CHERAW -- Johnny Richard Weeks, 67, passed away Sunday, November 02, 2014, at his home in Cheraw.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York with Rev. Trey Doyle officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at Spring Lake Country Club in York, SC.
Johnny was a son of the late Thomas Louis Weeks, Sr. and Adeline Wells Weeks.  He was co owner and operator of Cheraw Packing Plant and former owner of G&W Packing in Hickory Grove, SC.  Johnny was also served in the SC National Guard.
He is survived by wife Nita Alexander Weeks of Cheraw, SC, daughter, Anna Glenn (Robbie) of Clover, SC, sons, Willie Weeks of Cheraw, SC, John Wesley Weeks of Cheraw, SC, Turner Lawrence of Raleigh, NC, Ross Lawrence of Cheraw, SC, Mack Lawrence (Renee) of Rock Hill, SC, Walt Lawrence (Sarah) of Charlotte, NC, sister Betty Weeks O'Steen of Florence, SC, seven grandchildren and one more expected soon. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Louis Weeks, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of one's choice.
