Johnny Turner, 71, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Born in Marlboro County, SC he was a son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Turner. Johnny was retired from Galey & Lord after 38 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and squirrel hunter with his grandson Ryan. He enjoyed riding the “backroads” through the country. He loved the Clemson Tigers, watching NASCAR, and drinking a cold one.

He is survived by his loving companion of 20 years, Catherine Davis, daughters, Hattie Paulette (Amp) Grantham of Society Hill, SC, and Liz (Ron Wolley) Turner of Patrick, SC, grandchildren, Ryan (Lorena) Grantham of Patrick, SC, Acey Grantham of Society Hill, SC, Heather Turner of Society Hill, SC, and Dylan (Emily Wilkes) Turner of Patrick, SC and great-grandchildren, Axel Winburn, Mollie Shae Grantham, and Lilyanna Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, and a brother, David Bruce Turner.

The family will receive friends after 12 Noon on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the residence, 182 Townsend Drive, Society Hill, SC.

A graveside service will be held in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
