Kenneth "KT" Tarleton

Kenneth J. “KT” Tarleton, 79, died Sunday, September 13, 2020. Born in Chesterfield County he was a son of the late Walter Braxton and Viola Wallace Tarleton. He was a veteran of the National Guard. He enjoyed racing, playing golf, cooking and hanging out with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Creech Tarleton of the home, sons, Kenneth Terry Tarleton of Cheraw, SC, Mike (Kristin) Tarleton of Chesterfield, SC, and Jim (Laurie) Tarleton of Cheraw, SC, brothers, Walter Maynard Tarleton of Cheraw, SC and Alvin “Bobo” Tarleton of Cheraw, SC, a sister, Margaret Helen Jones of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Laura Gooden, JT Cutchin, Conner Tarleton, Katie Tarleton, Brody Tarleton, Jacey Tarleton, and Luke Tarleton and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, September 14, 2020 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC

A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Cheraw, SC.
