Lawrence Stanton Quick, Sr., 91, died Sunday, October 9, 2016. Born in Marlboro County he was a son of the late Luther and Essie Quick. He was the widower of Grace Quick. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a US Navy Veteran.

Surviving are his sons, Lawrence “Stan” Quick Jr. of Wallace, SC, George Quick of Raleigh, NC, Donnie (Kenya) Short of San Antonio, TX, daughters, Judy Quick of Wallace, SC, Cindy (Paul) Brooks of Wallace, SC, a brother, Frances Quick of Wallace, SC, a sister, Lucille Cagle of Columbia, SC, 12 grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents listed above, a son, Ricky Quick, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC

A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in the LDS Cemetery, Society Hill, SC.
