Linda Faye Chapman, 69, died Thursday, August 2, 2018. Born in York, SC she was a daughter of the late Edgar U. and Martha Steen Melton. She was the widow of William Chapman. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and most importantly spending time with her grand babies.

Surviving is her son, Robert W. (Sandra) Brock, III, a brother, Eddie Melton, sisters, Martha Gayle (Douglas) Grant and Wanda Diane Dixon all of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Christian Gaige Brock, Magen Brock, Crysta Brock, Kristen Hatcher, Harley Cronk, Jordan Fisher, Robert William Brock, IV, Savannah Brock and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, also, a daughter, Sherrie Marie Brock and a granddaughter, Breanna Brock.

The family will receive friends 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the home, 191 CC Chapman Road, Cheraw, SC.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
