Margaret Elizabeth Coble

Margaret Elizabeth Diggs Coble, 68, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, May 09, 2018. Mrs. Coble, also known by family and friends as “Bootsie” was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Diggs and Margaret Gardner Diggs; Grandparents, Joe and Martha Diggs and William and Mattie Gardner.

Mrs. Coble is survived by her husband (of 49 years), Johnny Coble, a daughter Jennifer Coble (Garret) Zohner of Clover, SC, a son, John R. (Audra) Coble, III of Florence, SC, her grandchildren which were her heart and soul, Rylie Margaret Zohner, John R. Coble, IV, Cooper Zohner and Grant Coble, sisters, Martha D. (Tony) Martin of Rockingham, NC, Ann D. (Mike) Aycoth of Winnsboro, SC, Judy D. (Fred) Allen of Hickory, NC, brothers, Herbert (Priscilla) Diggs, Jr. of Critz, VA and Davis (Tonia) Diggs of Norwood, NC, her beloved stepmother, Kay D. (Bert) Cook of Rockingham, NC, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Coble was born on November 26, 1949 in Hamlet, NC. Margaret received her BS Degree from Pembroke State University and a Master Degree from Winthrop University.

Margaret was a Mathematics Teacher in the Chesterfield County School District for 31 years.

She was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Rockingham, NC where she had held various places of service, including, Sunday School Teacher for the young children,  assistant Treasurer and active choir member.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1247 Sandhill Road, Rockingham, NC, 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2018.

The family will receive friends at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1247 Sandhill Road, Rockingham, NC, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2018.
