Marshell Eugene Almond, 80, died Thursday, December 6, 2018. Born in Albemarle, NC he was the son of Marshell M. Almond and Frances Dorothy Rice Almond. He was a US Navy Veteran.

He is survived by a daughter, Nicole (Grant) Cassady of OK, grandchildren, Dylan, Nicholas, Shawna and a great grandchild, Zeriah and a sister, Shirley Almond of CA, also many cousins.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2018 in the Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC.
