Mary Elizabeth “Lib” Freeman Dixon, 72, died Sunday, October 18, 2020. Born in Darlington, SC she was a daughter of the late Grover C. and Sadie Louise Haney Freeman. She was the widow of William Wesley “Honey” Dixon. She was a lifelong member of Society Hill Church of God serving as a nursery teacher for over 50 years. She loved quilting, reading and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by her, sons, Chris Dixon of Society Hill, SC, James Dixon of Society Hill, SC, Phillip (Lynn) Dixon of McBee, SC, daughters, Teresa (Eric Sr.) Sweat of Society Hill, SC, Robin (Thomas)Tyner of Society Hill, SC, a brother, George (Joyce) Freeman of Society Hill, SC, a special niece Stacie Knotts of Hartsville, SC,  a special cousin Jennie Stevens, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, also, brothers, Charles Freeman, Sr. and Rev. James Elwood Freeman.

The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Society Hill Church of God.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Society Hill Church of God.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
