Myra Simpson Boegemann

Myra Elaine Simpson Boegemann, 73, of Cheraw, SC, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Born in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Ware Simpson and Sula Battle Simpson. She was a graduate of Laurel Hill High School and Campbell College and worked as an administrative secretary and homemaker. Myra received Christ into her life at an early age, being baptized in the Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was being a loving mother and grandmother. She had a beautiful artistic talent for drawing and sketching. She enjoyed trips to the beach and dancing. In recent years she enjoyed the quiet solitude of reading.

Surviving are her daughters, Kaye Marsh of Cheraw, SC, Rena Deal of Candler, NC, grandchildren Jacob Deal, Hannah Marsh, Rachel Marsh, Rebecca Marsh, a brother John Simpson and a niece and nephew.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC. The family will receive friends after the service.
