Patty Claiborne

Patty Herndon Claiborne, 76, died, Sunday, September 06, 2015. Born in Clio, SC she was a daughter of the Elizabeth Schofield and George Herndon. Pat soon became the oldest of four; her siblings include Charles Herndon, Eugene Herndon and Linda Lee. Pat was also raised by her stepfather, John Schofield.

Pat graduated from Clio High School on June 1, 1956. After traveling for six years, she became a mother on May 14, 1962 to Vicki Lynn Davis. At the age of 40 Pat married her true love, Wayne Claiborne on December 2, 1978.

Pat is remembered by her husband, Wayne Claiborne, a daughter, Vickie (Mike) Tucker, grandson Michael Tucker, granddaughter Kathryn (Chris) Beddow, great grandson Gaige Beddow, close family members, Lois Tucker, James Tucker, Jessica Tucker, other family members and numerous friends.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, September 7, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.

Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
