Rachel Anne Chapman, 70, died Saturday, April 14, 2018. Born in Cheraw, SC she was a daughter of the late Jackson C. and Helen Lee Hewitt. She was a member of Wallace Baptist Church. She loved to go camping at Cheraw State Park. She was a hostess at McDonalds of Cheraw for 10 years and loved meeting new people. She also loved working in childcare, where she took care of many children from the community in her home.

Surviving is her husband of 51 years, Gary E. Chapman, Sr. of Wallace, SC, sons, Gary Eugene (Kim) Chapman, Jr. of Cheraw, SC, Kevin Lynn (Coleen) Chapman of Vienna, VA, sisters, Glenda (Jackie) Mangum of Pageland, SC, Dianne (Doug) Tarlton of Cheraw, SC, Kay (Jimmy) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC three grandchildren, Carley Chapman, Riley Chapman and Kendal Chapman and her fur baby, Pepper.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.
