Ralph Eugene “Rocky” Johns, Jr., age 67, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024. Born in Richmond, VA, he was the beloved son of the late Virginia and Ralph Johns, Jr.

Rocky was known for his passion for NASCAR and was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt. He found joy in fishing and surfing, and he cherished moments spent cooking and listening to the music of Jimmy Buffet. His enthusiasm for life was evident in everything he did.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Trista (Danny) Coxe of Bennettsville, SC, his sisters Dinah (Charles) Funderburk of Cheraw, SC and Jennifer Lindsay of Arkansas, as well as his grandson, Trey Coxe. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Leslie Wallace, Julie Odom, and Richard Myers.

A memorial service to honor Rocky’s life will be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
