Ronald Sellers

Mr. Ronald Wayne Sellers, 52, died on Friday, February 26, 2021.  Born, December 12, 1968 in Chesterfield, SC he was a son of Kenny Dean and Virginia Taylor Sellers.  Ronald was a graduate of Francis Marion University and was an engineer for the SC Department of Transportation.  He was a faithful member of Cheraw Church of God, where he was an usher and Sunday School Superintendent.  He was also an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Hanna Nicole Sellers and a mother-in-law, Brenda H. Burr.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Karen Burr Sellers of the home; sons, Jonathan K. Sellers and David A. Sellers both of the home; his parents, Kenny Dean Sellers and Virginia Taylor Sellers of Cheraw, SC; a brother, Jeff T. Sellers, of Cheraw, SC; sister-in-law, Kim Burr and father-in-law, Douglas L. Burr both of Wallace, SC; a nephew, Hunter G. Sellers (Christina Sadak) of Augusta, GA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cheraw, SC.  The family will receive friends following the service.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Travis Novinger and the nurses and staff at Mcleod Health Cheraw and to Dr. Bill Hazelwood and the nurses and staff at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence for the amazing care that they gave to Ronald during his time of illness.
