Susan "Sue" Fitzpatrick

Susan Sarra Fitzpatrick, 80, died Friday, February 9, 2018. Born in New Britain, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Helen Brezinski Sarra. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a member of Friends of the Matheson Library and the Humane Society. Nanny Sue, as she was known to her family and friends, loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, pet sitting, and her cat, Raven. All will remember her kind spirit.

She is survived by her sons, William (Beth) Maier of Cheraw, SC, Marc Maier of Cheraw, SC; daughters, Sue Ellen (Guy) Maier Mead of Isle of Palms, SC, Tara (Mark) Fitzpatrick Funderburk of Pageland, SC; a brother, John (Eve) Sarra of Monroe, CT; a sister, Judie (Bernie) Sarra McKinnon of Southington, CT. She also leaves grandchildren, Jesse (Kera) Mead, Mica (Colin) Sutherland, William Maier, IV, Mary Elizabeth Maier, Chelsea Maier, Sarra (Jeffery) Furr, Alexandra (Banyon Ford) Maier, Autumn Bryant; great grandchildren, George Coker Furr, Poppy Ford, Zoe Ford, and Calder Sutherland along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2018 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Cheraw, SC.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2018 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Cheraw, SC.
