Teresa S. Butcher, 59, died Sunday, October 13, 2019. Born in Cheraw, SC she was a daughter of the late Douglas Ratley and Viola Knight Ratley. She was the owner-operator of Karaoke by Teresa. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending time with her family and friends, especially playing with her grandson. She was very fond of her “fur babies” as well.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred Butcher of the home, a son, Carl (Sabrina) Self of Cheraw, SC, brothers, Donnie Ratley of Rockingham, NC, and Michael (Cathy) Ratley of Cheraw, SC, a sister, Doris Ratley of Pamplico, SC, a grandson, Blake Self, nieces and nephews, Shannon, Nicholas, Jared, Zack, Hailey and Bryan, special friends, Sherrie Thompson and Stefanie Youngblood.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband Carl Self, Sr. and nephew Shawn.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kiser Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Kiser Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
