Tex Hollis Keith, 70, died Sunday, August 06, 2017. Born in Society Hill, SC he was a son of the late Julius and Daisy Brazwell Keith. He was a former member of Wallace Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher. His ministry was with his heart and hands. He would help members of the community and his family by being a “Mr. Fixit”, no matter if the tasked called for carpentry, electrical, air conditioning or anything that needed a handy-man. Tex enjoyed building furniture. He earned an Associate Degree in Air conditioning and heating from Florence-Darlington Tec.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Most of all he loved his family, being outside with them, especially going to the beach at Ocean Lakes; where he would fish and spend time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Surviving is his wife, Debra “Debbie” Seigler Keith of the home, Tex Hollis Keith, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Cristy Keith (Ian) Purcell of Tampa, FL, Jessica Keith (Joel) Chavis of Cheraw, SC, brothers, Albert Keith of Cheraw, SC, William “Billy” Keith of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Cole Chavis, Taylor Chavis, Jackson Purcell and Sloane Prucell.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, also, a brother, Billy Ervin “Tooney” Keith, sisters, Beatrice Bradshaw and Sally Hanson.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, August 7, 2017 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
