Thelma Quick Rainwater, 95, died Sunday, January 7, 2018. Born in Bennettsville, SC was a daughter of the late Roland V. and Katy Cox Quick. She was the widow of Wallace George Rainwater. She was a member of White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Wallace, SC. She was an avid wrestling fan. Mrs. Rainwater enjoyed gardening, cooking and lending a helping hand. She loved her church and family dearly. She was known lovingly to all in the community as “Granny.”

Surviving are her sons, John W. (Joyce) Rainwater, Richard W. (Ann) Rainwater all of Wallace, SC, Carolyn Perhealth of Wallace, SC, Jeanette (Richard) Sinclair of Rockingham, NC, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, also, a son, Danny L. Rainwater, a son-in-law, Wayne Perhealth, brothers, Luther Quick, Harrison Quick, sisters, Minnie Rainwater, Donnie Sweat, Mamie Monroe and Mildred Cox.

The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Wallace, SC.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Wallace, SC.
