Thomas Watt Baker

Thomas Watt Baker, 47, died, Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Born in Cheraw, SC he was the son of Thomas Jackson and Sloan Ingram Baker of Cheraw, SC.  In high school, Watt was a punter for the Cheraw Braves. He was an All-Conference Football Player and selected for the North-South All-Star game in 1986. He was also a punter for Elon College. Watt enjoyed watching all sports, college and professional.

Surviving is his daughter, Sydney Blaine Baker of Cheraw, SC, his parents listed above, a sister, Kimball (Bill) Baker of Murrells Inlet, SC, nephew, Hunter and niece, Ingram.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 5, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, Cheraw, SC. Inurnment will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the committal at the cemetery.
