Tony Douglas Boatwright, Sr., 68, died Sunday, January 3, 2021. Born in Bennettsville, SC he was a son of Theodore Robert and Lena Wilson Boatwright. He was the widower of Connie Boatwright. He worked for Kenan Transport and had received several “Million Mile” safety driving awards. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his sons, Tony Boatwright, Jr. of Wallace, SC, Noah Cooper of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Tony Boatwright, III, Jessie Boatwright, Graceson Boatwright, Savannah Boatwright, a brother, Hubert Boatwright, Sr. of Florida and a sister, Juanita Davis of Cheraw, SC

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife listed above, a daughter, Cassie Boatwright and a brother, Wadis Boatwright.

The family will receive friends 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.
