Wanda Creech Webster, 74, wife of the late William Webster, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at The Legacy of Anderson. 

Formerly from Rockingham, NC, Wanda came to live in Anderson September, 2022, to be close to her niece Marian Carwile (Bill). 

Born in Cheraw, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hamer Wilson Creech, Sr., and Lou Manara “Pete” Jacobs Creech. Wanda worked for many years at Brown Molding Company. She was also the owner of Ladybug’s Plus & Minus in Hamlet, NC. 

She is survived by her sister, Julia Creech Carter (Terry); brother, Wilson Creech (JoAnn) brothers-in-law, L.C. Coates, and Roy Burr; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha Webster and sisters, Evelyn King (Ted), Catherine Coates, Martha Kate Burr and niece Jennifer Burr Elders. 

The family appreciates the love and care shown to Wanda by her husband’s aunt, Ruth Burns, and her son Michael, and also her niece Nancy King Brock. 

No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to a charity of your choosing.
