William Wesley “Honey” Dixon, 72, died Friday December 29, 2017. He was a son of the late William George and Lena Mae Atkinson Dixon. Mr. Dixon was married to his loving wife, Mary Elizabeth Freeman Dixon, for 51 years. He enjoyed working in his yard, sitting on the front porch, watching westerns and wrestling, and playing with his grand and great grandchildren.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife listed above, sons Chris Dixon of Society Hill, SC, James Dixon of Society Hill, SC, Phillip (Lynn) Dixon of McBee, SC, daughters Teresa (Eric, Sr.) Sweat of Society Hill, SC, Robin (Thomas) Tyner of Society Hill, SC, brothers George (Anne) Dixon, Jr, of Camden, SC, Jimmy Eugene Dixon of El Paso, TX, Marion (Jenny) Dixon of Cheraw, SC, sister Katherine (Robert) Hammonds of Pageland, SC, special nieces Stacie Knotts of Hartsville, SC and Kristie Dixon of Society Hill, SC, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above.

The family will receive friends 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday December 31, 2017 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday January 1, 2018 at the Church of God, Society Hill, SC. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
