William Henry

William Ray Henry , 73, died Sunday, October 7, 2012.  Born in Jefferson, SC he was a son of the late Charles Decar and Dorothy Elizabeth Horne Henry.  He was a member of the True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church, and the Men's Fellowship.  Ray enjoyed playing his banjo at church and the nursing home.  He enjoyed being around others who like good music and teaching them how to play the guitar and banjo.  He liked to go fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Mae Henry of Wallace, SC, sons, Bryan Henry, Mike Henry both of Charlotte, NC, step-daugthers, Joyce Brigman, Gloria Polston and Shirley Smith all of Wallace, SC, brothers, Jimmy Henry, Jerry Henry both of Wadesboro, NC, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church, Wallace, SC.  A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church, Wallace, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
